Default DPF impossible to regenerate in VIDA

Hi.

I have problems with my DPF. It is blocked, and so my car has gone into "protection mode" (don't know if that's the right way to call it).

I have been to a Volvo dealer, and they have changed the DPF sensors and cables, and so it went well for 2 days. Then, same light on the dashboard and "protection mode" again.
So I called them, and they said I should probably change the whole DPF, because (they say) the fact that the cables and sensors didn't work made it so that my DPF didn't regenerate for some time, and blocked itself.

I believe them, but I like to see things for myself. So I bought a DICE+VIDA thing, installed it, and checked everything in the car. It works perfect, I can play with every single parameter of my car, but the only thing that does not work is the "force regeneration" of my DPF.

When I go to DIAGNOSTICS > ECM > ADVANCED and try regenerating, my VIDA says either OPERATION FAILED.
Same goes when I try some calibration with the EGR valve. (also in DIAGNOStICS > ECM > ADVANCED)

My question is, has anyone had this problem ?
Is it possible that my DPF is so full of **** that it blocks everything ?
Can it be some electrical/cable problem ?
Any other ideas ?

Thanks a lot for your help !
