Exclamation Help - Sticking when braking

Volvo C30 2010 1.6 diesel
Hi all - there seems to be an awful sticking when I brake to come to a stop on my C30. It almost sticks and releases as the wheels turn. I have recently changed wishbones and callipers, as well as discs and pads. There is also no air in the system. My mechanic brother also looked and said everything looks ok and car is safe to drive. Any thoughts on what could be the issue? Thanks in advance!

what sticks the caliper or the brake pedal? The caliper is pretty simple - there's a piston (or two) which the fluid presses against to press the pads to the rotor. If the caliper is sticking it can be one of a few things - dirt can get in the rubber boot which covers the piston, the piston may have scored the caliper not allowing it to easily retract (you can hone the caliper or replace). Another potential problem may be in the emergency brake set up. Not sure if your model has the integrated emergency brake on the rear calipers - its possible the self adjustment is gummed up or the cables are too tight. As to "safe to drive" not sure how respond. Something is wrong and until its diagnosed, you are at risk of a more serious fault developing (like a leaky caliper which can diminish your panic stopping power.

The calliper does not stick and both have been changed so it's not that, the pads or the discs. 100% not any of those, they are all fine. It's not even a major sticking and some people don't notice it and it doesn't' hinder the drive at all. It's just annoying more than anything. The integrated emergency brake might be an idea so I'll check that out - thanks for the hint!
