Volvo C30 Fog Light Dilemma
First post - please excuse any protocol errors! A prior search didn’t turn up anything regarding this problem.
I have a 2012 C30 T5 which had a fog light go out recently. Owner’s Manual indicated type H8 for replacement, so I bought some nice street-legal Sylvania yellow replacements. Upon accessing the light buckets, I found that my car is using a solid-state driver/COB LED type of set-up. The dead lamp was due to a rodent-chewing incident (temporarily repaired).
Does anyone know if there is an older style bucket available that will allow me to retrofit normal H8 type bulbs? My car has the later grille/bumper design.
Thank you all in advance!
