Hey all
So I got a bit board this week and decided to add some base to my ride. I went on CL and found a Pioneer amp 2 Channel 760 watts max and two Sony xplod 1100w subs rms is like 300 . Anyways I've been playing with the arrangement as it has limited space in the trunk with a 9.5 inch height restriction. I first played with a narrow truck box with one sub angled acing up and the cab with the amp bridged; sounded like ****. I aimed it up and back; still sounded bad. I went to hd and bought some Mdf and built some boxes that fit in that short part of the trunk. The subs aim back. Sounds better than before but the bass isn't as deep in the cab, sounds good when the trunk is open behind the car though but with the trunk closed the rear rattles pretty bad and I can't feel much of the bass inside.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience? I know that these speakers are not the greatest and I'm not happy with the decreased real estate In the trunk. I'm wondering if some good quality 8" subs might be better all around. Anyone please jump In anytime. I need some help here and can't find many audio customizations on the ragtop online. Thanks all
