While lowering the top down, it stopped half way down. Wouldn't move up or down at that point. Here is what I tried. Pressed the top up button as per the Owners Manual, nothing. Did that a few times. Removed the ground cable from the battery to see if that would "reset" the top, nothing. Was finally able to release the pressure off the pump and locked the front and rear top in place with an allen wrench. I AM able to open the close the trunk. The top still will not move. And that damn alarm sounds with the car moves above 2 miles per hour.. I even tried removing the fuse to stop the alarm. Didn't help..What is my next step? What else can I try?

 

Well, I was able to get the top down in the closed position but that damn alarm keeps sounding. And it’s louder than the seatbelt bell. So, I removed Fuse that is for the Headlight Washer which I don’t have. And the alarm stopped. Now, on to why the top stopped in the first place.
