1998 Volvo C70 - weak electrical power
hey guys,
I had recently bought a 1998 Volvo C70 coupe 2.3L. The lights were always flickering since I bought it. Over the past month, everytime I accelerated or turned on my headlights or AC/heat on full, all the lights would go off for a second and then the radio and everything would come back on.
The voltage readings were also weak 12.8V with everything on. So I decided to replace the alternator. I bought a Bosch 100Amp re manufactured.
After replacing it, the problem still exists. The output is only 12.75Amps. Any suggestions on what I can check? and RSPI thanks for the alternator change video!

Thank you! I shall get back to you latest by this weekend regarding if I have any success. I also intend on bench testing my old alternator at Advance Auto in the mean time.

Cactuslegs - it worked! In addition, I even cleaned out all the engine grounds. Get 14.14V with engine on and everything off and 13.7V with AC and headlights, seat heats etc on.
