I just purchased a 99 C70 a few weeks ago and a few days ago, I have noticed that the ignition chime is always active when the door is open and the key is not in the ignition. It does not beep when the door is closed but the car will not lock with the alarm, I have to lock and unlock it manually. I have tired to look up what may be the problem but so far came across everything for other vehicles.
If anyone has any ideas of what it can be that would be great. Thanks.
