Done a lot of searching on the various forums and I beleive that my need to have the convert mechanism recalibrated.

The issue is minor as of now. The top will go up and down on its own with a single button press, however- when the top is almostall the waydownit doesnot completely rest back into the storage compartment- it stays slightly elevated in the storage compartment- it is almost not even noticable.The the storage compartment coverthencomes down, hits the top andstops for assecond,and thenfinally forces it to fallinto place which completes the cycle. I am not sure how much force it actually takes, but thecover slows/stops when it hits the rag top, and then it is almost like it pushes it into place and it falls completely into the storage compartment.

I guess I have a couple of questions;

1. Is this an issue?- it seems like the problem is intermittent but getting worse- although it could be my imaginiation.
2. If this is an issue-whatamI looking at to get it fixed?
3. Should I stop using the top altogether until this is resolved?

Is the top button flashing? If it is there is a fault but then again if it was flashing or staying on it would start beeping as you started to move. When the top is being stored the rear latch motors bring the cover down. the the cover latches pull the cover plate the rest of the way down and locks. I think what you see is normal. But still you might run by dealership as I cannot see what exactly it is doing.

They will look at the Numbers from the Sensor and see if they are out when they calibrate it.
That will tell them if the sensor is bad.
