Recently i was stationary in N. when i put the car in D and accelerated there was no drive. The engine revved but no forward motion. The happened in all positions on the gearbox. Vehicle was recovered by AA and taken Avalon cars in Northampton a volvo specialist. They are saying a total gearbox rebuild £3000. has anyone had a similar problem or can suggest another specialist that can give a second opinion nr Northants. Cheers VMW
