Smile Fog lights

Find the headlight power wire near the front. Splice into this power wire and run this wire back to your switch. Come off the other side of the switch withe wire to power the fog lights. Fog lights must be grounded. Simple and cheap.Good luck.

Default v70 convertible battery drain

I am having the same problem. My husband has to keep charging it and I have bought a new battery. I now do not like using it in case I am stranded or stuck with the roof down. Any information on what could be causing this would be readily accepted! I wondered if anything to do with the alarm. As Usual Marshalls in Cambridge are of no help whatsoever!
Many thanks.

Default Battery drain

My battery-drain problem happened when I first got the 2011 C70 as new. Battery drained after I did not use the car for a week (away on vacation). Kept happening over a couple of years despite charging, new battery installation. It turned out to be the radio. I believe it was the Sirius service. I never signed up for Sirius, but somehow the Sirius made the radio be always on and drained the battery.

Hello

In many cases the battery drain was caused by the CRM (Convertible Roof Module) not going to sleep mode after 90 seconds or something i believe it is, we released a software fix for this it should be available to all Volvo dealers. I can not remember exactly when this was. But it was not every car that had the drain problem it was the configuration of equipment that could cause this.

Have a look into this if you have self draining batteries. Remember this only applies to Volvo C70 2006-2013

Hope this helps, it is a real pain in the *** when the car wont start, and also potential damage on the drivers window since it doesnt drop to stay clear of the a-pillar when opening and closing the door so please help the window a bit so you dont break it.

I am wondering how do you distribute the fixing software to others. I had 2 batteries in 6 years and many times of none start issue. It really is a problem compare to others I had drove in past.
