I have a 2006 c70 which is draining the battery spasmodically, the battery has been changed 3 times and a new alternator has just been fitted a a huge cost, I have a feeling it is connected with the alarm or the central locking mechanism, if I do not lock the car it appears to be ok. But I cant leave the car constantly unlocked, can any body help with my problem, and by the way, the main dealers cant find the fault. The RAC man seemed to think it was alarm connected.

 

Casperhoover, For those interested it would appear after spending a lot of money, my battery drain problem was being caused by a sun roof module not going to sleep when ignition was turn off. A software upgrade I am told was the remedy. I will find out soon as the car will be locked up for two weeks in a week or so and hopefully it will start on my return from holiday .
