Default 2012 C70 Transmission Dip stick where is it?

I am embarrassed to ask this question but I have scoured the internet for a picture or video on how to locate this on my 2012 C 70. I can only find info on other models. Do I have one ? It is the Aisin 5 speed auto that has been in use for a number of years. I want to do a drain and fill with my next oil change. This cars engine bay is pretty tightly packed so do I need to remove the airbox and piping to see it? Hoping someone has pictures .
I called my local Dealer and the service manager told me they don't service those transmissions unless their is a problem, I replied I am trying to prevent one to which he just repeated himself.

Thank you.

https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2...ck_fluid_level says you don't have one. the newer Aisins like the 6 and 8 speeds use a dual drain plug design where the inner plug is removed to set the level via an overflow tube and the outer is removed to remove the tube to allow the fluid to drain. You can find a video or two on youtube to see how that system works. Not sure I agree with a shop manager who says these are sealed for life...For some similar Aisin's Volvo recommends changing fluids at 50 or 60K for hard use (ie towing / mountains etc). I'd call around to other shops.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info, Puzzled because it is a five speed so I assumed it is an older model tranny. I called an independent shop and they want $300 for the flush, I asked about the fluid they use and was told it was a compatible Pennzoil product. Not sure if I want to do that.

On one of my older Lexus cars (01 GS430) with an Aisin 5 speed I have done two "flush" changes at Valvoline with the Max-life and that has been great for that car. That is listed as compatible and some on other threads swear by it. I will try and locate another independent shop and see what they say.

Thanks.

The owners manual should tell you what fluid specs to meet. per the owners manual, your car takes a little over 8 quarts (7.7L) of JWS 3309 fluid - so you need need to find brand of fluid that meets that standard. Shouldn't be too hard to find as many Toyota/Lexus models which also use Aisin transmissions which require this spec. In fact Toyota TI-V is JWS 3309 (which can be found at a lower price than OEM Volvo). Lots of people have posted comments on what is or isn't truly compatible with 3309 (not sure if all those posters were correct) so you may want to read up a bit - I like to check out Bobistheoilguy.com's blog for insights.
