That tube lets air into the ECU box...
To keep them cool

RPMs could be a result of a dirty throttle body...Try cleaning it.

Wait for others to respond....

Lets air out, most vendors online sell it for 12-15$. Why is the CEL on in the first place? I would do as the others suggest and have the throttle body cleaned. Also clean your MAF meter with a good cleaner. Good luck.

I love how everyone says to clean the TB, like it's a walk in the park on these cars, its a retarded design and PM nightmare. The OP has zero mechanical ability, he has made that clear in his other posts. This car will either make all of his hair fall out, or make him broke. I feel sorry for him.

Sorry but that is what needs to be done. We are just telling him what needs to be done. If he wants to tackle it we can walk him through doing it.

I am not certain that one can get a read on a person's mechanical ability in a few posts. Perhaps he/she is the type to pay someone else to do the work even though they are perfectly capable of doing it themselves.

This is the irony, I do have low mechanical ability even though I work(Lets say assist since he doesn't pay me) for my grandpa under the hood once every week at his used car dealership, so what I know is substantial because Im not really interested in him teaching me anything that has to do with an engine because I just find it to complex and I'll just waste his time. Secondly I am not going to ask him anything because he will want me to being the car in and I know his personality and I'll leave it at that.

So well guys I want to tackle this myself because I feel capable and it is not like im going to disintegrate the whole engine off.

Right now half my front bumper is off my car because I just got tired of it being a bit loose, and wow what I find? My jaw dropped abit to be quite honestly. The left side of the bumper is held by two screw nails
Im like how did they manage to do this? Well what they did is they made two holes on the bumper with a screw gun and onto the chasis and then covered the nail heads on the bumper with a little bit of fiber glass and a nip of silver paint. Now in the middle laterals there are 4 screw holes on each side and my left side has no screw attached and my right side has just one screw while the right side of the bumper is correctly attached with some plastics. Im a bit pissed off because if the left side screws go, literally my whole bumper will fall off and that will certainly cause it for me to run over it and maybe lose control of my car and god hope not me getting into a car wreck. I am gonna tie the bumper with something onto some metals inside the chasis to hold the bumper, I definitely can't drive with my bumper depenmding on two freaking wall picture screws.

While im at it, I want to tackle the throttle body right now, but I just can't seem to locate it. I already had someone step on the gas and I feel the sound of the pedal but I just can't locate anything. So please Im going to need to get walked through here. thanks!

The throttle body is under the intake manifold. You will have to remove the hard plastic pipe going to it. Then remove the throttle body 4 10MM screws and clean it out and reinstall it.
