Boot lid stuck closed

Hi all! Anyone have any idea how to open a boot lid that is stuck closed. 2008 C70.

It seems to be firmly locked closed.

Also make sure valet mode is off. Some cars have a button in the center by aircon controls and some are activated by locking the glovebox (as explained in mt6127's link)
