Hey all!.noticed my coolant sensor came on and I checked my expansion tank and it was almost empty.I added coolant and the light went out.I then checked underneath the car and there is a small leak on the drivers side.it seems to be coming from one of the small slits on the skidpad.hope that makes sense.is there any way it could be an upper or lower hose?.just wondering if a leak always means the radiator is bad?.any input is much appreciated!.new to volvos here.thanks!!.....mega

 

Where was the coolant leaking from? The front of the car? If so, check all the hose connections on the radiator, that little one that purges air back to the reservoir is especially common because they often don't use a regular clamp, but one of those compression clamps. So when the hose relaxes over time, it starts to leak.

Coolant doesn't usually evaporate off, you can often see traces of it still wherever it's leaking.
