Hello I was driving my 1999 volvo c70 2.4t convertible home last night and the ABS and TRACS light came on dash closely followed by ROPS and SIPS lights ... the lights started dimming and the car started to die ... I switched of the heated seats stereo and everything else electrical I could and the car managed to limp home with headlights dimming ... about an hour later I started the car without any problems and took it for a drive it only managed a few miles before all lights came back on as before and the car died again ....

 

I would have to say the Alternator is going south.
