99 C70 DEFROSTER PROBLEM
Hello all (especially Tech):
The air flow from my defrosters seems weak. Even on max fan, if I switch to the cabin vents air pours out.
Selecting the foot/floor vents only or defroster only it seems very weak and you can hear the air pressure in the system change, or build up.
Since winter is upon us, I need good defroster capability.
My questions:
Is the air flow control(s) vacuum or electric? (I am used to the vacuum modules on most cars but I do not know if Volvo uses these)
How does one access the defroster control module/motor to inspect/replace it?
Any adjustments?
Thanks,
Ron Y

It is an electric motor.
It might need to be recalibrated. (Dealer only)
They are located in the air box under the dash on the drivers side.
I forget which one is for the Defrost though. There should be 3 there.

Thanks Tech. I will call my dealer.
How was your trip back from NJ a few months ago? Too bad we could not connect. I think I left my email after you were on the way up.
Thnaks again,
Ron
