Hi all - I’m wondering what years can you swap parts on these cars from 2008-2011? Same motors obviously but do body parts match ? Hood, doors, lights, etc. ?
I purchased my first C70 (2011) 2 years ago... my son new driver (oh the things we do!!) ran into the back of a car with trailer hitch and did enough damage that of course the insurance company did not see the value to fix it . Amazing and long story short a week later I found the identical car, I’m talking year, color, options - everything and in better shape than the first. So I figured what the heck I buy back the “totaled” car and keep it for parts right... the front end damage was pretty much cosmetic- hood, grille, lights, left front quarter, maybe a radiator (not even leaking but pushed back). Now my 16 yr daughter will be getting her license and she lovers the car... what a great present if I could rebuild the damaged car for her (secretly of course) !! So here I go looking for matching parts ... I know crazy but loving dad 😁

 

depends what part you need - a good place to start is Car-part.com (a recycle yard search engine). Put in the part/year/model for your car then allow interchange parts and see what comes back.

 

Thanks I’ll give it a shot 👍🏻... if it was not very clear More specific I’m wondering if you can interchange Body parts between a 2008 C70 T5 and a 2011 C70 T5 ? I know Volvo did a redesign of this car around 2010 (?) but when you look them body seems to be almost identical ... hood, front panels, grille , etc
