Hi Guys, I have a fault with my C70T air con, its cold as long as the engine is below 2000RPM. Once it goes over 2000RPM the air temp out of the vents is about 15 degrees celcius. Under 2000RPM while sitting still or driving slowly the air temp goes down to 6 degrees celcius. the fan stays on all the time. I can here a clicking sound underneath but behind the dash near firewall or behind it. The clicking happens about every 5 seconds when the RPMs are over 2000. Once the RPMs are below 2000 the clicking happens about every 30 secs or more. It sounds like a relay unit or similar and it seams to relate to the difference in cold air. The gas lines are dripping in condensation so I guess there is plenty of gas in the lines. Any help with this matter is greatly appretiated

 

Clicking sound may be the compressor clutch engaging & disengageing. Check FREON level! A/C can can cause more condensation in a low FREON unit! Check belt to compressor for cracks & slippage also. Both easy fixes, proper FREON level & new belt if required.
