ido you take your finger off of the button as soon as the service light flashes. if you keep pressing the button, the light comes back on. if it still stays on even with releasing the button as soon and it starts blinking, you can go to the dealer and see if they can delete it using VIDA. and if it doesnt go off using vida its caused by an internal fault in the cluster and will need to be replaced.

Default solved

apparently, you have to let go when the light flash right away, I tried about 5 times and finally paid when an experience tech did it and went away - I was amazed and yet felt extremely stupid.

Now another problem, I have intermittent BULB light goes on when I brake, I want to check for the rear right tail light and all the bulbs.... how do I do so?

The service light should not cause a fail on an inspection.

To check tail and brake lights, back up towards a picture window line at a plaza or someplace like that.
