I'm looking for a comprehensive shop/repair manual for my 2001 C70 convertible. I checked Haynes, Chilton, Clymer and none of them cover the '01 model year. Any suggestions?

Chilton's publishes a manual Number 72302 that covers the 850 and c70 series that you may be interested in.

cause volvo, BMW mercedes and a few more car manufacturers are money ***** and don't want you saving any money by not coming to the dealer for repairs.

they have put everything on CD, DVD or laptop so you cant get it.....unless you have some friends on the inside

 

Thanks but 72302 only covers up to 1998.

 

The information re: brakes, engine, and etc. are relevant to your 2001. I use it for my old 2002 c70. Fuel filters and the like are all in there.

I bought one and is sucks. They may not all be the same but mine was worthless.

 

the DVD's are actually pretty good.. but there is a HUGE learning curve.. and they assume a bit of previous mechanic experience... if you can get one for cheap they are nice to have on a laptop and take to your car while you work

 

Yep, ditto. Mine didn't work properly like it needed some additional items (either hardware or some specific computer system from Volvo). And I'm not a computer noob.
