Car stereo goes crazy with roof lowered
Greetings from Latvia
I have a 2004 C70 convertible and i love the car.
My only problem is when i lower the roof, and drive for a while (approx 10 min), my car stereo starts to go crazy every time i turn on the turn signal, or headlights or high beam than the sound of the stereo is distorted, no low's, no stereo, very terrible quality.
It will stay for so long until i turn again the turn lights or headlight switch etc, then there is the chance to get back the normal sound again!
I have the dolby digital package version, the head unit is sc-901. The problem is on any of the sound modes (stereo, 3ch stereo, dolby pro logic)
What's more strange - when the roof is raised, my problem is gone!
Has someone else had similar problem? Has anyone electric knowledge and could give me a hint what does the roof, instrument cluster and car stereo share together, or how could they affect each other?
Thank you!
