Lightbulb Chair lifting!

Hello ben a while sinc i last posted! i have this problem! my bouth chairs aint lifting! i have leather all over them how can i get to the mehanism? electrical part vorks but i cant lift up that baack side of a chair to let someon in the back! anyone have faced this isue ? thx

hey

i have the solution to your problem!!

i have the exact same issue...i have removed the seat from the car and stripped it down to have a look at the mechanism.

i have a video and will try and post a link for you and anyone else that needs any help

please bare with me while i try and figure out how to post a video on here

YOU NEED NEDLE NOSE PLIERS TO TAKE IT OFF, HOG CLIP TOOL & NEW CLIPS TO RE-INSTALL, DID MINE RECENTLY. BE CAREFULL & PATIENT! rEAL TIGHT FIT GOING BACK ON PADDING. GOOD LUCK.

Hi

It wasn't difficult to remove but it's held in place by some round metal clips that can be opened with pliers.

I will do another video showing how to take off and replace soon

Please keep an eye out

Most auto parts stores will sell the "Hog Clip" tool & "C" clips in a set for about $10. Easy to use.

today i replaced the covers off my seat..

iv made a couiple of videos to try and help anyone...

i replaced the c clips that hold the covers to the foam with cable ties

have a look at my video and hope it helps..

im based in london uk ill be happy to help anyone that wants to replace theirs.

please note that i tore the cover from the foam as this was the easiest way to take them off
