My wife's 2000 C70 has been giving her problems for the past year. Sometimes the speedometer works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the car will buck while driving and other times it's perfect.

Our mechanic found the following codes:

P1633
P1618
P0722

Any ideas?

 

Rebuild or replace your ABS module, common problem for Volvo models of that era.

 

Thank you. Research says that should take care of codes 1633 and 0722 but what about 1618?

Weird.

 

I sent the ABS module off to CA for a rebuild and got it back on Friday. Got it installed on Monday and the car has been running perfectly since then. It's possible that the questionable code could have been a flyer since there are a lot of other electronics that run through the ABS.
