Default Converatable Shake!

Hiya all,

New to this forum but would like to ask peoples opion on the converatble C70's.

We have a UK (Euro) Spec C70 (2000) low presure 2liter!

The shaking over bumps isnt the best and can be felt through the steering wheel and the front windshield. I've been reading around and it appears to be the norm (which isnt the best really compared to other topless cars).

If this is stardard have other people tried to fix this problem by installing addition support such as struct braces on the front and rear (top ones).

Just trying to get some ideas as its driving the wife mad and therefore driving me mad!

Thanks,

GT

Yes it is very much normal

I haven't heard of anybody trying to tighten it up yet.

I use a strut bar on a c-70 coupe................makes a "big" improvement! If you notice, a C-70 has a good bit of straight line performance but the "cornering" is abysmal. The strut bar makes a great improvment in the Mcpherson strut suspension as it regards handling.

Give the old lady a drink and tell her to relax. Consider it a penalty for driving such and awesome car.
