Default Coolant leak

Well once I solve one problem, another surfaces! Doesn't it always seem that way.

Well I seem to have a small to moderate size leak. But not real sure of where its coming from. It is pooling on the floor in front of my front passenger wheel. But because of the shield underneath I can't see where its coming from. I am going through coolant and water at about a gallon in a month and a half.

Has anyone had a similar leak, and know how and where to check? Thanks

Remove the Cover and I will bet the Radiator is leaking.

How do I remove the cover? And if it is the radiator, how bad of a bill am I in for?

While under the car there is a screw on each end of the cover. It is a 10mm screw.

If it is the Radiator it will be a Pretty big Bill.

Like $250.00 for the Radiator and like 2 to 3 hours labor.

I would say maybe Ballpark like $450.00 or more.

I had a similar problem with my 2000 C70. Another place to check is look under the expansion tank at the hose connection. Mine was slight and was three fold. There was a small crack in the tank, the hose ended up being bad, and the clamp was egg shaped and thus wouldn't clamp well. Sealed the tank, replaced the hose and replaced the clamp.

Just another place to look.
