Default coolant mystery

i have a coolant leak but there is no sign of leakage anywhere.not on the floor also.when i fill up with coolant and then drive a few miles the level drops and completely empties. if anyone could help with this problem i would be really happy.

Have you checked the oil? If your missing coolant is in there you'll need a new head gasket. Unless the car is billowing white smoke which will mean pretty much the same thing...

i changed the gasket about 3 weeks ago but still have the same problem. i want to bring it to another mechanic because i dont understand why i still have that problem. from what i can see there is no water in the oil.

There's also a possibility then that there was an air pocket that never got filled and now it's taking up some coolant, BUT, how much coolant are you talking about? I think 1 qt or 2 may be explained like that but no more that that...

Any signs of coolant leaking anywhere?(like around all the hoses)
Also if you turn the heat on do you get a funny smell?
