Default Help: Mystery cable - replaced coolant overflow sensor 05 XC90 T6

Hey guys,

I have an 05 XC90 T6 with 112k miles. The coolant level sensor went a few weeks ago and I ordered one from my local Volvo dealer. I'm less experienced under the hood (special education teacher), but figured I should be able to follow a set of directions. Everything went smoothly, without incident, until I noticed after snapping the coolant overflow tank in and then the power steering reservoir, a cable hanging from a clip with a thin long plastic piece attached that didn't seem to have a home. I'm posting photos. If anyone could steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. It seems this plastic piece with the cable zip-tied to it holds the cable out of the way of what is either an air intake for the turbo or coolant system for the car.

Much appreciated!

Default

That protects the wheel speed sensor wiring. It clips to the upper strut tower brace
