Did C70 model come with runflats AND a spare tire?
Hello forum, I'm a first time Volvo owner and member. I owned a 2011 white C70 that had a spare tire. The car was totaled in a rear collision. I purchased another 2011 black C70 without a spare tire. The dealer says that the car has runflats and doesn't come with a spare tire. The trunk is the same and looks like a spare tire should be there.
So as the group of experts, what gives? Did the dealer just lose the spare tire and is trying to lie to me, or does the 2011 C70 come with runflats from the manufacturer?
Thanks for your advice, and I'm loving the Volvo. It kept me and a passenger completely safe after being rear-ended by 8000lbs of truck.

I have an '08 with the 18" rims and had no clue either that I didn't have a spare tire but have that inflatable kit. Was told I had run flats too. I have the 18" Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires and found out they are not run flats. I fear getting a flat either way. ( I bought my car 3000 miles from home, sight unseen, had it delivered, so I guess I was not about to return to the dealer any time soon to complain!)

I also own a Volvo C70 and they come with a spare as an option... they come with tires called Run Flats, so if you have a flat it is still drivable to a safe location.... It still makes me nervous... I found this out first hand when I had a flat and had no spare & no triple A... lol I learned my lesson

My 2008 came with the latex repair kit - expired by one year.
The concept of filling a flat with latex (in the rain?) and messing up the low tire pressure sensor made the purchase of a spare tire inevitable -in my mind. Sensors cost $40 I think.
So after + $300 I filled the spare cavity with a tire and no secure / dedicated place to stow the jack and wrench!
Well, now I feel better really. Must be the boy scout in me.

Not mine
My 08 did not come with a spare. It does have the "sludge machine" as I call it, as well as run flats. The problem being, when I hit potholes, it drives the wheel into the tire and there is no amount of sludge to fix it. That being said, it also drops so low to the ground that I can't get a standard jack under it.
