Default does anybody use chip for ur car?

now im interest about the chip...
did anybody use the chip which is safe and good work?

Since I have chipped my S40 I think I should warn you that buying that kind of thing off e-bay may not be the best thing to do.

I had mine done by Upsolute and have dealer support. If the programming becomes lost or dealer flashes then I can get it reprogramed for free.

The other thing is that for them to do it they had to dl some other programs to install chip properly, this took about 4 hrs total.

I did not look very closly at ad but alot of them tell you that you have to send them the ECU. I dont think I like the sound of that.

I am glad I chipped it, runs like it should now.

Hi there,

I had my c70 T5 chipped by RICA when the car had 50000 miles on it, it now has 116000. The chip upped the power to 310 bhp and run like a dream. have a look at www.race-tune.com
all I can say is don't do if your 1 worried about the rate you get through tyers and 2 if your worried about loosing your licence,
german autobarn i have had the speedo reading over 160mph!!!
