Hi, the c70 1st gen convertible I got has a broken driver side seat belt clip
![](http://i.ebayimg.com/t/2-PCS-HIGH-QUALITY-3MM-STAINLESS-STEEL-SAFETY-SEAT-BELT-BUCKLE-NEW-AUTO-CAR-AA-/00/s/NjIwWDYyMA==/z/hQMAAOxyyF5RNuaG/$T2eC16d,!)8E9s4l8iBEBRNu,GG2)Q~~60_3.JPG)
how do I replace it?
Can I use a generic one in the picture to replace it? I just need to access the lower part of the seat belt unit to swap out right?
please help I have gotten few responses from my post

I think you can take the buckle off by loosening the seatbelt strap behind the front seat at the bar. Take off the plastic cover, then loosen the bolt (I think it was either a T-25 or 15mm, not sure). Once the bar is loose, you can pull it out from the seat and slide the belt off of it and replace your part. I hope this helps.
