When you said you had the components "repaired" what exactly was done?

 

My car has been losing power for the past couple of weeks and then last night, this ETS light came on and it all makes sense. Any idea how to resolve this?

 

The only way to resolve the ETS issue is to take it to Volvo. They will replace the ETM which has gone bad and your ETS light came on. It costs about $1k to repair and Volvo has a new warranty on them so it might be covered under that, but you will have to ask them.

Only Volvo can repair it.
