Default ETS

Anyone experience problems with ETS? I have a 2000 V70
with 55K miles and I recently changed a faulty oxygen sensor
when my check engine light came on. I was led to believe
it would solve my ETS warning too. The ETS light came back on
today only, no check engine light.

confused...

Lou

ETS is the Electronic Throttle System.

You will probabyl need a new ETM (electronic throttle module)

Good luck

I just got that ETS warning light today. The car is driving fine. Am I at risk of an accident if I keep driving the car?

The ETS can cause the vehicle to suffer a loss of power or to quit entirely and a whole host of other driveablity problems. Get the car to a qualified independant specialist to have the electronic throttle module replaced. Be sure to ask if they have the ability to download new software to the throttle module.
