i have a 2008 C70. from the get-go i had problems with excessive tire wear. initially the factory alignment was out of spec and so the dealer made the necessary adjustments and put a new set of tires on the vehicle at around 8K miles. the second set lasted 'til 19K miles, at which point i replaced them again, this time on my dime. at 25K i am faced with either endurnig the noise created from the cupping of the tires, or replace them yet again.
I took the car to an independent tire shop today for an alignment check. the cams, are all to spec. They baiscally told me that a lot of sports cars (BMWs, Lexus, Acura) have the same problem and it is basically something you have to live with. 5K miles per set of tires?? C'me on!!!! There's got to be something these clowns are missing. Somebody please help me!
