Dealer installed new shift blind last week and did not test it. Drove off the lot and tried the Geartronic. Shift lever would not move into the slot. Tried three times and with the third try it clunked (sound) and then moved into the Geartronic slot. Geartronic did not work. I think the magnet part was jammed unit it broke off. Immediately back to the dealer.

Now without opening up the console they are telling me that it shows TCM 0192 fault with leads to the Gear Selector Module (GSM). They want to replace the GSM. I think it's the shift blind. Any experience/ideas/comments?

It was the shift blind. Magnet broke off due to mis-installation. Dealer replaced at no charge. Geartronic works well now.
