Hi everyone
i did full sevice on my 1998 c70 today but i couldnt manage to get to do the fuel filter

can anyone suggest the correct procedure as to how to remove this from the car?

The manual says there is a pressure release valve similar to a tyre valve but when i had a look it doesnt seem to look like that and cant see a way of unscrewing the cap?

Any uggestions will be much appreciated

Did mine recently. Everything is covered in undercoating. The cap comes off just like a tire valve. Press to release pressure. The filter is held in by 3 bolts in a bracket. 2 longer bolts easy to put back in, third short bolt goes thru 3 pieces were clamp holds filter in place, difficult to replace, I got a 1/2 inch longer bolt, made it easier. My filter was original equipment. I think all bolts were 10mm. I re-coated evrything after replacement of filter.

How do the pipes pull off the filter? Is it just a case of pulling off??
