Default Hardtop stuck partially open

I stopped the opening of the top partially opened in order to glue the headliner. Now it does not move. I tried the procedure in the manual of holding either button down for a minute and I also tried disconnecting the battery. Here are the messages and the results of the scanner. Any suggestions would be appreciated:

Messages
After starting engine = “roof not locked”
After pushing up or down button = “roof failure see manual”
After holding down button for 30 seconds = “roof failure service required”

Default Fixed

FYI - I got it working again. I tried to jog the CRM brain by driving it a few feet until the warning chime started. But that did not do anything. Then I reached into the trunk and loosened the plastic divider. I started the engine and pushed the down button. The message about a loose divider appeared. I reached back into the trunk and closed the divider. Then I hit the down button. It started moving but only about halfway down. Then I hit the other button and it closed all the way. Then I hit the other button and it went all the way down this time.

Default Same Issue

So I just bought the volvo vida because I too am having the issue where I need maintence. My CRM module and everything test fine as far as the car is concerned. When I try to calibrate my top it says that Hall Sensor 6 needs to be in active mode and it is in passive so how do I get it in active mode?

You are a Volvo God!!! Headliner was in need of repair and the top got stuck-ugh. Panic set in -but you saved the day -especially when we were in the process of moving.
Thank you -Thank you for sharing your solution.😊
