Default Headlights fitment

Hi, Are there any differences between the 01 and 04 c70 headlights. I saw a picture of an 04 and it looks like they are clear as opposed to the 01. Would the 04 fit on an 01?

The 04's are the clear glass with the diamond shaping inside.

oh wow, good info! cause i can get some 04 headlights, paint the inner housings flat blackand retrofit some projectors in that i removed from one of the buses at my job. and these projectors are 2 almost 3 times bigger than a regular car projector. then i can get some HIDs and have some really nice lights.

.............wait until you check the cost of the 2004 headlamps................. You are actually better off obtaining a set of projector lamp assemblies from Ebay and then adapt them to HID. I bought a set of the projector assemblies for my 2002 and truly enjoy them. You can get them either chrome or flat black.

I was watching a set of projectors on Ebay. Do you have to use the HID kits? Or would non-HID work in them? These were 395.00 with 30.00 shipping

I kept the original H-7 bulbs (Sylvania) in the projector lamps. I believe s-70 bought the same lamps and then purchased the HID kit and replaced the H-7 bulbs with the HID. I found the projector kit truly made the headlamps outstanding and I did not see the necessity for the HID.
