Default Headliner Repair - 2008 C70 T5

Hello!

My headliner has become unglued from the clips which attaches it to the roof and I need to fix it rather than spend the $900 to buy a new one.

I have all the clips as they are all still attached to the roof.

Is there an instruction manual showing how to completely remove the headliner to reglue it to the clips and then reattach it?

And, what glue or method should I use to reattach it to the clips?

Thanks for all the help!
John

I used the 3M weather stripping black adhesive Has been on for several years and still good. I did it in place with the top partially up and pressed and held it place for several minutes

Had the same problem. I used the strongest level of Liquid Nails I could find and it worked great. Scrape all the factory glue off clips before re-gluing. And be aware. The front row and rear row clips are different! Whatever you do don’t lose the clips. I THOUGHT I’d lost two of them and searched for days. Finally bought two new ones from the dealer. $80 for two clips that couldn’t cost more than a quarter to manufacture. I found the “lost” clips later. If anyone needs them I’ll sell them.
