Hi Guys!
I has a fried headlamp socket on a C70 2006 where some moisture got in the old headlamp.
(see pics)
I'm about to drive round to some breakers yards; I have a question - are these sockets bespoke to the C70 or should I be looking for other models of Volvo to snip the socket out of?

We can get a new replacement plug and wire pigtails pretty cheap - I would not bother with a boneyard

 

Ah I called up - but ye can't ship to the UK. I wonder if anyone else in the UK can help with this?

 

Are they halogen or bixenon headlamps? I'll send you the Volvo part #s so you can get them at your local dealership

 

Hi! They are halogen lights. I've asked my local garage here, but they have quoted me £1500 for a new loom, just so I can snip the socket off of it. Its a volvo C70 T5 2006
