Hello everyone, new member here. I was hoping someone would have some advice for me on manually closing the roof on my C70

This is my first Volvo and the top worked find for the first few months, but now it will close almost all the way and stops about 3 inches from the top of the windshield.

So I tried to manually close the lid and I followed all the instructions in the owners manual to a letter and while the lid will make contact with the top of the windshield, it wont "lock down".

Does anyone know what I am missing, is there some step I missed?
