Default I'm back, car won't start again.

I have a 2011 C70 with approx 17K miles. I rarely drive it because I work from home and travel. The issue is I could never trust my car to start when left at the airport. The dealership finally corrected the issue with a software upgrade having to do with the satellite radio. This morning I had an appointment and I go out to start my car and the battery seems to be ok but it says Key Error and won't turn over. I have tried the second key to no avail. The good news is the car is still under warranty, the bad news is I am losing confidence in the car and it looks like I have to get it towed in. Any ideas on how I can get it started to get to the dealership?

I'm sorry I don't. If it's saying key error it's likely part of the anti-theft system and you would have to have it towed in for that one.

Sounds like a bad Start Control Unit, which reads the key. Could be the column lock though. Either way, no way to bypass them.

Default windows cracked down

So just before calling the tow truck I tried starting it one more time. This time the battery was too low to get the windows back up. It got towed to the dealership and has been sitting in the rain for two days. It is so windy that my first attempt to keep the water out failed miserably. When I went to check on the car today everything in it was soaked. I am so NOT happy. I really badly want to LOVE my Volvo and I do when it runs but this car has been unreliable since day one. I think it sat at the dealership on five different occasions for over ten days at a time before they fixed the first issue. I am hoping volvo will step in and help me trade it for a 2013 C70 sitting on the lot. Based on what I looked up (trade in value of a 2011 C70 with only 17K miles @20K) and the "sale price" of the 2013 of $36K it would be a $16K risk for me to try the other C70. Honestly, if I have to spend that much I will likely find another brand. I LOVED my Saab 9-5 and naturally when I sold it I moved to Volvo. I don't want to change brands but I have been bitten and now I am shy. I posted photos of my car being towed away and tagged Volvo in it. They were very helpful ensuring my car was fixed the last time when I posted on their FB page. Too bad I have put less than 5K miles on the car and have another issue with it.
