Just picked up my C70 today.
I ran around this morning to get done with work fast and get to the dealer to pick her up. Well, I have her now shes mine
01 C70, Saddly it doesnt have the upgraded sound system, at least I dont think it does. The rear speakers have a lable of Dynaudio, but theres no changer and its single CD/cass head unit.
The left dash speaker is not working blown or not connected. Need a one I think
The motor mount up top to the rear is bad, I saw a poly one online.
She drives nice and firm. And I nearly shet when I saw the pass side seat had memory too, thats a first for me. Then again this car is a first for me, never had an import before.
Any info on where to get the speaker from, and a decent parts supplier
First of many pics im sure
This is from my cell and by means should judge my photography skills
odd pic is not showing up

Dynaudio makes some of the best world class speakers available! You can GOOGLE dynaudio for more info. Now, the updated radio has a 3 disc changer in the head unit and a trunk mounted 6 disc changer is available as an option. the 3 disc changer loads the 3 discs into a cartridge. If indeed you have the updated radio, the dash speakers on either corner of the dash do not have speakers in them. There is a centre mounted dash speaker in the upgraded unit. I am in N.J. right now and do not have my auto available to check the radio number for the upgraded unit. I am not sure of the year of your c70 but if memory serves me correctly all 2001 on c70s came as 'standard' with this upgrade. OK, I just looked at your thumbnail and you have a 'new' grill and so...................you should have the upgrade and if you don't, then the prior owner 'cheaped out' and replaced a disabled unit with the 'standard' unit.

yeah its a single CD headunit. And I dont have the code for the unit if I loose power. Is there work around or am I screwed if I dq the battery?
and I like the color too
and I like the color too

yeah, i like the color too. i'm at the same point as you Torkk, whoever owned my C70 before me didn't take good care of the carand carfax says it has 44 reports and 1 open recall, so i have broken or missinginterior pieces, the broken engine mountthat you have that needs replacements(but i will make a cheap solid mount modification ans post here with pics).
I went to dealer today, well the 1 dash tweeter is going to cost around 130.00 YIKES. The mount around 50.00.
I saw a polyurethane mount online, I might got with that its around 25.00. Im just concerned with feeling the engine vibes with it. I did get the code for the HU. I pulled it out and gave them the serial number and part number. Nice guys at Kundert. I did notice 2 harnesses plug in on the back, 1 in the amp port 1 in the CD port. I assume those end up somewhere. The headunit is 816 if I remember correctly, does that system have an external amp?
edit. Is there any place online that sells the speakers, most of the parts place I looked at dont list them
If the original radio was the up-grade unit then the dealer will have the code. Now, if the prior owner changed out the radio himself then the serial # of the auto will not help you what-so-ever. You will have to take the radio out and take the radio to the dealer and he can find the code by the serial # on the radio..............of course he then may charge you...............
