Ive recently rebuilt my front end eg: subframe bushes ,engine mounts,all steering componants, shockers,strut mounts+top bearings,and springs. Anyway the old struts i took off had a smaller bottom spring seat to the new bilsteins ive now got now, what my problem is now ive got bad vibrations (which i had little of before) which i think its something to do with the struts and springs i now have .Should the bottom spring ring be touching the seat as shown in picture ? thats without the car compressing it down yet, and the strut doesnt look right it looks as if its got a bend to it, and should the top spring seat be flat as seen in pic its leaning to one side .I could do with someone taking a pic of there struts from inside there arch .I think these springs are either faulty or not the correct part (weaker spring).What is the difference in the colour codings on the springs eg : green ,blue,white etc ( I didnt buy original volvo springs from dealers ) The original springs are also bent to F--K and the colour code is green ,these new springs look and measure identical other than a less thickness of 0.5mm difference
