Default Microswitch on drivers seat

Does anyone know how to replace the spring on the microswitch for the seat? It seems to have popped off and now I have to push and hold a lever in the crack of the seat for the power adjustments to work.

Thanks

Usually the plastic that the spring holds on breaks. There was a tech note which I do not have handy showed to drill a hole and install a screw to hold the spring.

Default Microswitch

This seems to be a common problem and has been discussed in previous posts if you do a search. I have the same issue with both my seats and will be looking into repairing them in the near future.

Should be able to use a small piece of wire or a cable tie to make the switch work again. Peel back the leather and take a look, takes a few minutes to get it working.
