I've been calculating the milage per year that I drive and how many miles i'm going to have year after year... I figure, if everything goes well, I will have nearly 300k miles in the next 5 years of driving! As long as repairs don't out weight the cost of a different car of course.

So I have to ask, how many people out here have high mileage on their C70 and how many miles?

Any crazy expensive repairs so far?

I've put 70K miles on mine with very minor repair cost thus far. A couple replaced calipers and a rear strut mount have been most major things for me! (dealership replaced front end under warrenty: steering rack, a arms, tie rods and ends)

a little over 147k miles on mine just bought it this past spring. under 3k more and i can join the vovlo high milage club. that will have to wait till next summer though since my volvo is my summer only toy
only repairs i need to do on mine for winter projects is new pads all around, new front rotors, new front control arms(for the new bushings),rebuilt abs module, and get my front window regulators rebuilt

 

There's hope for the future then! I have 7500 miles since May 2008! This car will outlive me for sure at this rate!

 

My 1998 c70 hpt 2.3 has 189 000 km . I have to do maintenance on it every month .

 

my 2002 C70 softop has 47,00. Don't drive it in the winter unless wife takes our blazer away on a multi day trip.

 

1998 C70 Coupe. Wife's summer DD. has 140k.

 

01 coupe, has 143k miles on it. No major repairs so far, but on my girlfriend's 2000, her timing belt tensioner went out and we ended up paying 3 grand for new valves and everything installed =(. That was around 85,000 miles. DON'T IGNORE THE STICKY!!

'01 C70 T5 Coupe, 182k! The wife-mobile. My '04 S60R has 112k, it's coming along. About to retire the C70 as the spare car.

 

Volvo c70 with 205,000 miles. Currently had an oil leak at rear seal. Not worth fixing...loses .25qt of oil a month. I can live with it. Driving it to the ground.

 

'08 C70 163000, just replace motor mounts, plugs and axles, rear wheel bearings, rear shocks and Struts, flushed transmission. I'm hoping this car will be the last I ever buy before the end!

 

I have a 2007 C70, about 65000 miles, I am the second owner. I bought it at 38K.

2000 Convertible 2.4L 180K miles
Just bought it, so don't know how well it was taken care of before now.

 

2004 Volvo C70 2.4L LPT/auto, currently 39K miles. Car was in possession of original owner for first 30K miles to 2019 when the owner passed, spent its life in a private parking garage when not being driven. Briefly owned by an employee of the owner's building for a year before he damaged it and sold it to me at 38K.
