Hi

i have a 2011 C70, which I love. It’s been the nicest car I’ve had, but now that it’s 9 years old almost, it’s starting to do weird stuff. The most recent was from today. It now makes this whining sound when I start the car, and then about a half hour after being driven it starts again when I first put my foot on the gas, and then take it off. I saw in another post that it could be the breather box (?) if the noise stops when you take the dipstick out. I tried that, but it stopped before I even got the hood up. While I was driving it today, it felt a little bit like it may decide to stall out, too, but as soon as I started moving again, that feeling went away. Any thoughts?

The sound is not not super loud, but can be heard across the street. It doesn’t sound like a belt squealing.
