ok heres the story..

August i had the big 90k service cambelts etc

since then i have had an op on my shoulder and have only covered 2000 mls

since it was such a pitifull mileage i hadnt checked the oil ooops
checked it today and it was only just marking the dipstick.

topped it up with 2 3/4 lts of helix.

now the problem is i need to know what happened to the oil

had the car up in the air to see the tell tale signs and couldn't see much tho [sm=dontgetit.gif]
cleaned around the filter had alook up the engine to see the turbo etc and nothing visible.
the only oil i found was on the rh side wishbone area but that seemed to be more like ps steering oil.

any ideas i read about the turbo oil pipe orings leaking but i found thes (the ones that go into the block) and they seemed all ok

have taken the air filter box off to get a better view of that part of the engine and agian all seemd fine the only thing i can think of is that when it was serviced the didint put the oil in or all of the oil?


any help or input would be greatly apreciated as i am scratching thru my head here!!!

Most likely it burned some of it. Did you check it after they serviced it to see where it was on the dipstick?

Maybe they were a little short as well.
