Default Open Trunk Warning Lamp Problem

Hi All:
My trunk "Open" warning lamp flashes on and off when hitting bumps. The lid is solidly closed and on inspection I cannot find the switch. I suspect a hall effect (magnetic) switch is used here.
My question is, does anyone out there know where it is located and any suggestions on adjusting it?
Thanks, Ron

The trunk lock assembly is bad.
The switch that controls the light is built into the latch.

How hard is it to replace the trunk latch assembly? I have an 02 S60 that is saying the trunk is open. I suspect this is my problem.
