Default P0340 & P0365 after starting

I start the car it fires right up, then I shut it off and it just cranks, sometimes it will start eventually, igf I clear the code it fires right up again with a pending p0340 and p0365 which goes current when I try to restart

I checked the timing by taking the crank pulley off and checking the mark down on the crank gear and the oil pump housing and the two marks on the crankshaft and cover, spot on, I even put on a new belt and tensioner

is there some wiring I should check? could this be caused by the cam adjust solenoids?

some help would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Replace both cam position sensors. There is a kit to replace both cams. Zero tolerance engine if problem continues, new engine or rebuilt head !

To answer your question the cam position sensor is mounted on the end of the cam/s. But usually it's not a bad sensor - it's the cam timing is very slightly off - if you don't get the VVT/cam timing adjusted perfectly you will get a cam position sensor code. Not meaning the sensor is bad - it means the cam is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thank you for your response. I know next to nothing about cars. I wish I could get a pictorial description of the CPS location. I have tried googling but it's coming up with different locations.
